Can Chinchillas eat Cauliflower?

Cauliflowers are an annual plant that reproduces by seed where typically on the head which is called ‘the white curd’ is eaten. The head is made up of white inflorescence meristem and they resemble broccoli. They are from the same family as cabbage, collard greens, brussels sprouts, collard greens, and kale.

So can chinchillas eat cauliflower at all?

As you can see cauliflower contains quite a bit of phosphorus, a hint of calcium, but quite a lot of acidic content. This means that unfortunately, chinchillas cannot eat cauliflower. It is just too acidic for them to eat.

They cannot eat the leaves as well.
