As you can see red peppers contain a hint of phosphorus, calcium, sugar, fat and a little acidic content. This means that chinchillas can eat red peppers, just chop up a few small pieces for them as this will more than suffice for them due to the acidic content. Do not feed them the stem of the seeds of the red pepper.
