So can chinchillas eat leather at all?
Unfortunately they can’t eat leather at all. They will not only chew but they will eat it as well. When they do eat it, leather will sweep in their stomach and intestines and will cause a blockage. Chinchillas just cannot digest materials such as leather. There are much better materials for them to chew, so do avoid leather for a chewing material
