As you can see, grapes contain a little phosphorus, a hint of calcium, quite a bit of acidic content, and a lot of sugar in them. But the biggest concern is that they contain a lot of water which is not good for chinchillas at all.

This means that chinchillas can’t eat grapes at all. They are not able to eat any kind of water based fruits. They are just too much for their stomachs and will give them diarrhea if they do eat them.

A fruit to be avoided whether they are seeded or unseeded.
